1. Information we process
When you start an analysis, MEOWD processes the cat photo you select, any optional behavior or vocalization context you provide, and your app language. The number of free analyses used is stored locally on your device.
2. Photo analysis
Your selected photo is sent securely through our cloud function to a third-party artificial-intelligence image-analysis provider solely to generate the requested result. MEOWD does not intentionally store uploaded photos in its application database. Service providers may process or temporarily retain data according to their own security and retention practices.
Do not submit photos you do not have permission to use.
3. Purchases
Subscriptions and purchase status are processed by Apple and RevenueCat. MEOWD may receive product, entitlement, and purchase-history information needed to unlock features and restore purchases. MEOWD does not receive your full payment-card details.
4. Analytics and diagnostics
MEOWD uses Firebase services to understand product usage, improve the app, prevent abuse, and diagnose technical issues. Depending on your device and settings, this may include product interactions, device identifiers, coarse location derived from network information, and diagnostic data. Photos and generated analysis text are not added to analytics events.

- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot errors.
- Measure feature usage and improve the experience.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
6. Service providers
MEOWD relies on Apple for distribution and payments, RevenueCat for subscription management, Google Firebase for cloud functions, app verification, analytics and diagnostics, and FAL/OpenRouter-connected model services for image analysis. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
7. Your choices
You can choose not to submit a photo, change camera or photo-library permission in iOS Settings, manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account, and remove locally stored app data by deleting the app.

8. Children
MEOWD is a general-audience entertainment app and is not directed to children for the purpose of collecting personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review the request.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as the app or its service providers change. The latest version and its update date will remain available on this page.
